Fawnlight yawned as she woke up. She looked over to see that Rootheart was still sleeping, so she crept out of the den quietly. "Morning Fawnlight." Sunstorm said. Fawnlight nodded to him. "Do you want to go hunting? It's still early, but maybe the prey has come out." She suggested. Sunstorm yawned a bit. "Sure, maybe a good hunt will warm me up." They headed out of camp and headed out to the forest. Fawnlight thought she smelled another cat, but wasn't that sure. "You smell anyone." She asked her brother. "Ya, us." Sunstorm relied. Fawnlight smacked him with her paw. "No, I mean cats outside the clans." She said. Why are toms so dumb sometimes?! Fawnlight thought to herself. Suddenly, a star covered kit came out of the bushes. "Time is running out, find me, quickly!" The kit yowled and disappeared. Fawnlight stared at Sunstorm for a second and than they both bolted back to camp.

" They're here!" yowled Berrypaw, jumping down from her perch. Fawnlight purred in satisfaction. The clan had been told about ClearClan as soon as Lightningstar got back to camp and had been spending the day catching prey, making more nests, and expanding dens."Where is she?" Foresttail murmured. Ever since he had heard the his old clan was coming, he'd been pacing the camp and constantly asking the apprintesses if they saw anything. "FORESTTAIL!!!!!!!!!!!!" Foresttail looked up and nearly fell over.  A she-cat ran over to him and almost knocked him over. The she-cat was pretty, Fawnlight thought, but than she noticed an ugly scar running from her neck to her right leg. " Mom?!" Foresttail squeaked. Then a handsome dark brown tom walked over to Foresttail with Honeystripe. "Dad?!" At this point, if Foresttail was any more shocked Fawnlight thought he might just faint. Fawnlight noticed Lightningstar talking with Acornclaw and Lynxeye over in the far edge of the camp. Lynxeye looked pretty mad and Fawnlight suddenly remembered that he used to be the deputy. Lynxeye stormed away, and Lightningstar leaped up on the Main Bolder and yowled out the summonings. "All cats old enough to walk under the Ice Fall gather beneath the Main Boulder for a clan meeting" The ClearClan cats looked confused. "That means everyone except the kits." Lightningstar added. In a few heartbeats, everyone was seated at the foot of the Main Bolder. "Now, first things first. Lynxeye and myself have talked it over, and all ClearClan cats will become members of SeasonClan. And if you wondering, The matter of who's deputy has been solved. Acornclaw will remain deputy. You are all dismissed." The cats began to mingle with each other. "Hi, I'm Skyflower. What's your name?" Fawnlight jumped a bit. The she-cat in front of her had snuck up on her first of all, and second the cat had long hair. "Oh, um, my name is Fawnlight." said Fawnlight. She stared at Skyflowers long and silky fur. Skyflower began to look a bit uncomfortable. Fawnlight  blushed when she relized what she was doing. "Oh, I'm sorry, I've just never seen a cat with such long fur before." Fawnlight said. Skyflower sighed in relief. "It's ok, I was just worried I had a flood of burs in my coat. Fawnlight, I thing this is the begaining of a beutiful friendship."

"Lightningstar! Lightningstar!" Lakepaw yowled as they tumbled into camp. "What is it Lakepaw?" Lightningstar said, walking out of her den. She had obviously been sleeping, as bits of moss where stuck in her pelt. "I'm sorry to have woken you, Lakepaw, go get Foresttail than meet us outside camp, we have a lot to talk about" Fawnlight said. Lightningstar frowned, but followed Fawnlight out. "Well, what is it, Fawnlight?" Lightningstar asked, now curious. "We have to wait for Lakepaw and Foresttail, as it has to do with Foresttail and Honeystripe's old clan." Fawnlight replied. Lightningstar's eye's widened. "Great StarClan." Lightningstar said. All Fawnlight did was nod, and Lightningstar said "Are they coming?" Another nod. "When." She asked. "Wait for Foresttail, and then you'll see." Fawnlight replied. A few heart beats later, Foresttail and Lakepaw came tumbling in. "Ok, will someone please tell me what goring on?" Foresttail asked. "Well, Foresttail, we found your old clan and their coming at sunset." Fawnlight said. Foresttail nearly fell. "Is it ok that we invited them, Lightningstar?" Fawnlight asked. Lightningstar nodded. Fawnlight took a deep breath. "Oh ya, and Foresttail, your mom is alive."

"Lakepaw, wake up!" Fawnlight said, looking into the den. She saw Lakepaw sleeping in a heap on the floor. "Lakepaw! We need to train!" she tried. This time Lakepaw stirred and opened her eyes. "Good morning Fawnlight." Lakepaw said "Are we going to train or what?" Then Lakepaw notices her sleeping siblings and said "Why do they get to sleep in?" she whined. "You said you wanted to be as fast as me, didn't you?" Fawnlight said. Lakepaw nodded. "Well, you need to train than!" Fawnlight said. Lakepaw sighed and followed Fawnlight out of the den. " Wow, your up early." said Honeystripe, walking out of the warriors den. " Ya, Lakepaw wants to learn to run fast, and I dought Lightningstar will want to take time out of hunting and fighting." Fawnlight replied. " Can I join you? I need to catch up on my running skills." Honeystripe asked. " Sure!" Fawnlight said. " Fawnlight, you woke me up as soon as the sun came up, and I want to go!" Lakepaw said impatiently. Fawnlight laughed and said " Ok, let's go!" And shot out of camp. Lakepaw, like last time was right on her tail. Honeystripe though, could barly stay five tail-leanths from Lakepaw. " Let's head to the Ice Falls today" Fawnlight yowled back. Lakepaw nodded and Honeystripe waved her tail. As they ran, Fawnlight felt freeer and freeer as she ran faster and faster. Lakepaw was now two tail-lengths away and Honeystripe was still far behind. Suddenly, Fawnlight stopped. "What's that smell?" she said, picking up a sent. Lakepaw went next to her. "I smell it to." Lakepaw said. Honeystripe finally came next to them and her eyes got huge. "I, I know that sent!" she practically yowled. "Well, it's really recent, wanna check it out?" Fawnlight asked. Without another word, Honeystripe took off. This time, Fawnlight and Lakepaw had to go full speed to keep up. "Lynxeye! Violetpaw! Is that you?!" Honeystripe yowled. Suddenly, a she-cat and a tom burst out from the bushes. "Honeypaw!? Is it really you?" The she-cat asked. "Yes! But I'm Honeystripe now." Honeystripe said. "Honeystripe!? The last time I checked, you where a kit!" the she-cat said. "Wait....... Did you join another Clan?!" the tom said in shock. Honeystripe looked sheepish. "Yes, she did." Fawnlight said stepping up next to Honeystripe. The tom glared at her. "This doesn't concern you." the tom said. "Yes, it does." Said Lakepaw, stepping next to her mentor "It concerns us because we're her clanmates." Lynxeye growled at Lakepaw and Fawnlight. "Lynxeye! I remember that Darkstar said you had gotten hit by a monster when you got knocked out and dragged away by him. Honeystripe probably thought we
where dead." the she-cat said. "Ya, I did, and so does Foresttail. Thanks Violetpaw" Honeystripe said.
"Honeystripe, one my name is Violetheart, and two, we all thought that you and, ah, Foresttail where dead. Lilyfur and Hawkclaw have been frantic." Violetheart said. Honeystripe stared at Violetheart. "My, my mom is alive!? But, that's impossible! I saw where Rockblood hit her! He hit her square in the chest and ripped it!" Honeystripe said. "Ya, he did. Luckily, Breezeheart was with us and saved her, but just barly in time." Violetheart said. "Um, sorry to interrupt, but Honeystripe, we're still here, and I think we should take you former clanmates back to camp." Fawnlight said. "Ok Fawnlight." Honeystripe agreed. "Can we go get them?" said Violetheart. "Of course!" said Honeystripe. " Ok, we'll be there at sundown. And Honeystripe, come with us, we need a guide." said Lynxeye. "We'll go and tell Lightningstar you're coming." Fawnlight said. Violetheart said "Ok, see you at sundown."

Fawnlight saw a nice, big, juicy vole nibbling on a nut. She slowly stalked towards it, and just as she was about to pounce a voice said "Fawnlight?" she ignored it and continued creeping forward. "Fawnlight!" the voice said again and she felt something rub against her leg. It's a wonder the vole hasn't ran yet she thought. "FAWNLIGHT, WAKE UP!" the voice yelled and something kicked her side. her eyes snapped open and saw Stonefall glaring at her"Ok, I'm up, I'm up!"she meowed, licking her swore leg. "What do you want!" she said, annoyed. " Oh, Sunstorm, Foresttail, and Honeystripe are back, and the kits are going to be apprenticed later today, Lightningstar want to see you too." Stonefall said "Really, why me?" Fawnlight asked. Stonefall shrugged "I don't know, but she said it was important, so you should get over there." he said. Fawnlight nodded and started going to Lightningstar's den.

"You wanted to see me?" Fawnlight said, poking her head into the den. "Yes, I did." said Lightningstar. "It's about Lakekit. She's going to need a mentor soon, and I was hoping it could be you." Lightningstar said. Fawnlight just stared at her. "B-but I just became a warrior!" she blurted out. Lightningstar laughed "That's exactly why you'll be the perfect mentor, you remember what it was like. The only question now is, will you except?" Lightningstar said. Fawnlight thought for a moment, it would be fun to be a mentor and get to see little Lakekit become a warrior. Lakekit was a little bundle of energy too. Fawnlight made her decision. "Ok, I'll do it, it'll be fun." she said. Lightningstar nodded and said "Good, can you go get Stonefall for me?" "Ok." Fawnlight said and walked out of the den. "Stonefall! Lightningstar wants you!" she said, walking up to him. He was by the fresh-kill pile talking with Foresttail about battle moves. "Ok." he said and walked towards Lightningstar's den. I think I should see how my apprintess is doing she thought. She walked over to the apprintess den and watched them play "Get the Dog". "Hi Fawnlight." Featherspot, the kits mother, said warmly. "I hear they'll be apprintess today." Fawnlight said. "Yes, my little warriors!"
Featherspot said. "I wonder who their mentors will be. You know Fawnlight, if I could pick out their mentors, it would be Whitestripe for Duskkit, Brownspot for Berrykit, you for Lakekit, and Stonefall 
for Herringkit." Your wish has been granted Fawnlight thought. " Hi Fawnlight!" squeaked Lakekit " I'm going to be a apprenticed today!" she said " I hope your my mentor!" said Lakekit " She won't be, she'll be mine!" Berrykit said " She won't be either of yours, she'll be mine!" said Herringkit. Fawnlight smiled, they where fighting over her! "I want Stonefall to be my mentor, he's so strong!" said Duskkit. "But he's slow, and she's fast!" said Lakekit "I'll crush you when I'm as strong as him!" Duskkit squeaked "And I'll hunt more prey when I'm as fast as her!" Lakekit said. Fawnlight purred in amusement at the two kits. They where chasing each other now. Fawnlight could have watched them all day but she saw Stonefall coming out of Lightningstar's den and walk over to Greenwhisker, exchange a few words and when he saw Fawnlight looking over at him, he motioned for her to follow him. "Who'd you get?" She asked him as they went out of camp. "Herringkit, you?" he said "Lakekit, did she just tell you I was a mentor?" she asked "Yep." he said. They walked `through the Forest and back to the camp in silence. When they got back to camp, Lightningstar leaped onto the High Bolder and yowled the summonings. "All cats old enough to walk under the Ice Fall gather beneath the Main Boulder for a clan meeting" "It's time!" Fawnlight whispered excitedly. They went over to stand with Greenwhisker and Goldensoot. The kits walked out of the nursery nicely groomed and looking serious, but Fawnlight could see they could barely contain their excitement. They went to go sit in their place, and Lightningstar started the ceremony. ""We are gathered today for the naming of these 4 young cats. Lakekit, do you promise to obey your mentor and the warrior code?" "I do" Lakekit answered "Then from this day on until you get your warrior name, your name is Lakepaw, mentor: Fawnlight." Fawnlight saw Lakepaw smile and walked over to Fawnlight. They touched tails and started the walk to the Ice Falls.

Fawnlight saw Lakepaw have an awestruck impression when she saw the falls. She quietly went to the top of the falls and began the warrior code:

"Defend your Clan, even with your life.Elders , queens, and kits must be fed before apprentices and warriors. If any warrior or apprentice is sick or injured, they may eat while the elders, queens, and kits are eating.
Prey is killed only to be eaten. Give thanks to StarClan for its life.
A kit must be at least six moons old to become an apprentice.
Newly appointed warriors will sleep at the Moonstream for one night after receiving their warrior name.
The deputy will become Clan leader when the leader dies, retires or is exiled.
A Meet is held every Half-Moon to show off their apprentices and discuss problems
No warrior can neglect a kit in pain or danger, even if the kit is from a different Clan.
The word of the Clan leader is the warrior code.
An honorable warrior does not need to kill other cats to win his/her battles, unless they are outside the warrior code or if it is necessary for self-defense.
Kits must stay in camp until they are apprenticed, and are not allowed to hunt.
The safety of the Clan is more important than the safety of one cat."
And then she plunged into the falls.

As she stepped out, Fawnlight walked out to greet her. "Congratulations, Lakepaw! One last thing to do, go to the Moonstream." Fawnlight said. Lakepaw nodded. "Um, Lakepaw, you know you can talk now, right?" Fawnlight said. Lakepaw smiled and said "Ya, sorry, I was just catching my breath." "Should we run or walk?" Fawnlight asked, smiling and studying Lakepaw's build. Lakepaw was little, small boned, and lithe, perfect for running. "Run!!!!!" Lakepaw squeaked. Fawnlight nodded and took off running. Lakepaw was a few tail-lengths behind her the entire time, but as they got to the stream, slowed down alot. Fawnlight skidded to a stop."Are you ok?"Fawnlight asked. Lakepaw nodded, breathing hard. She look sad. "Don't worry, I'll train you to run, and someday you might be faster than me!" Fawnlight said. At that, Lakepaw smiled. "Come on, we'll walk the rest of the way." Fawnlight said. In a few minutes, they got there. "Ok, Lakepaw, take a sip of the water and see the visions."said Fawnlight "Ok."Lakepaw said. She leaned forwards and took a sip. She closed her eyes, and Fawnlight did to. She instantly saw Lakepaw in a race with her, almost matching her pace, missing by a mouse tail. Than she saw Lakepaw at her warrior ceremony, with a handsome tom looking at the moon together. Than she saw Lakepaw with kits climbing over her and that tom, in the SeasonClan nursery. Than as elders together. Than at the toms body in the center of camp, than her own. And the vision was over. "Let's go back to camp." Fawnlight said. Lakepaw nodded, and they both started back.

"I win!" Fawnlight yowled as they reached the lake. " Of course you won, why did I even try?" Icestar said out of breath. " What do you mean, of course?" Fawnlight asked, confused. " Gee, I don't know, maybe because your one of, if not thee,  fastest cats in the clans, DarkClan included." Icestar said, seeming surprised at Fawnlight confusion. " Really?"  she asked " Yes, really, now are we going to fish or not." Icestar said, smiling. " Of course!" Fawnlight said. " Usual spot than a swim?" Icestar said. " Yep" said Fawnlight. The two she-cats paddled to the shady part of the Lake, where the fish always gathered. Without a sound or a ripple, Icestar slipped into the water. They both knew the routine, they had known it since kit hood. Fawnlight waited on the bank, Icestar in the water. Suddenly, Icestar shot forwards all the fish came to Fawnlight and she swatted as many as she could out, Icestar killing every fish she could in the water. Fawnlight manged to kill almost all of them, missing a few near the water. Icestar got a few fish and swam in. "Can you help with them?" she asked. Fawnlight nodded and slipped into the water, gathered up a few, and swam back. They both made a few trips. " We did good today." Icestar said Fawnlight nodded in agreement. " I'll get the leaves." she said and ran over to the ferns, ripped a few large leaves off, and ran back. They both started gathering up the fish and putting them in the ferns. They head back to the WaterClan camp and with a nod to Caringpoppy, dropped off the fish in Icestars den. Fawnlights name sake, Fawntail, looked at them as they past her, and shook her head. Fawnlight would never get why it was so hard to imagine a warrior being friends with a leader. They divided their bags into two piles and headed back to the Lake. They swam around a bit, but Fawntail had ruined the mood. They headed back to camp and Fawnlight took her share, two ferns, and went back to SeasonClan. Since Icestar had a clan to run, she got three bags. Without a word, Fawnlight undid the bags a the fresh-kill pile and let the fish out, and went to the warriors den. She collapsed into her nest, exasted, and fell to sleep.

"Hi Icestar!" Fawnlight said as she ran into the WaterClan camp. "Hey Fawnlight!"Icestar said warmly, Fawnlight and her were best friends, Fawnlight was a moon or two older, but WaterClan apprintesised the kits younger, as they need to learn how to hold thier breath for a longer and swim. Icestar became a warrior a few moons after Fawnlight was an apprintesised and a moon before she was a warrior. Soon after the deputy,Larelfall, died in a battle with DarkClan, Icestar was appointed  deputy for her bravery in that same battle. Than just three days ago Fogstar died. "Fawnlight?" "Fawnlight?!" "FAWNLIGHT!" Icestar yelled. That brought her back to the present. "Yes, sorry, what did you ask?" Icestar sighed and repeated" I said, is everything alright in SeasonClan? " "Oh

ya, sorry. Everything is fine, Leafpaw getting a Naming tonight so Willoweye ordered, I mean TOLD me go get all the med cats and tell them to get to the Moonpool tonight." Fawnlight said. "Ok, I don"t know where Lilypool is, I'll be back in a heartbeat, let me ask someone." Icestar said as she walked away. "Hey Smallpaw! Do you know where Lilypool is?" Icestar said. Smallpaw looked back, startled that her leder was asking her. "Y-ya she went to SeasonClan with Lilywater to talk to Willoweye. Something about StarClan and Leafpaw." Smallpaw said in her very soft and quiet little voice. "Ok, thanks Smallpaw." Icestar said and Smallpaw turned on her paws and ran. "No Lilypool." she said "Ya, I've heard." Fawnlight said "Want to go for a swim? Bet I could beat you to the Lake!" Fawnlight said. "Your on!" Icestar said and they sped off to the lake.

 Fawnlight perked her ears up as the clan came into camp. "Fawnlight." Lightningstar said as she walked towards her. "It's good to see you up and walking again." Lightningstar padded away. Rootheart walked towards her and sat down. "What's his new name?" Fawnlight asked "Sunstorm." he replied "Sunstorm." she repeated. "So, I guess Stonefalls with him?" she said, sighing. "Ya." he said looking at her. She turned away, blushing. Than Willloweye jumped in. "Fawnlight! Your up! Good, cause I want to do something for Leafpaw, or should I say, Leaftail!" Leafpaw stared at Willoweye. "We'll have the ceremony tomorrow, med cats and kin only, Fawnlight, can you spread the news to WaterClan and IceClan?" Willoweye said. "Sure, I'll get right on it." Fawnlight said, and than she took off running.

Hey guys! Sorry I haven't been posting. I'm at my Grandparent's house. I would make another page, but I only have like, a sentence more of story I can think of. I'll post as soon as I can, or Carmella will. She's an author on my blog now. Make sure to look at the author tag at the bottom of the posts, or you'll just get lost. "Fawnlight?" Leafpaw said. Stonefall looked puzzled. "The fit? What is that supposed to mean?" he said. Leafpaw rolled her eyes at him. "Stonefall you mouse-brain! I'm not even a warrior and I know what she said, she said the sit!" Sunpaw said obviously thinking he was right. Leafpaw sighed. Of all the brothers I could have, why these two? "Great StarClan! She said the kit! Not the fit or the sit!" Leafpaw said, wanting to strangle them. Willoweye eye's widened in shock. " Leafpaw, do you think it could be the kit you saw?" she said, voice trembling. Leafpaw thought for a second. " I don't know Willoweye, only Fawnlight could confirm that, and she passed out......" Leafpaw said, deep in thought. "Fawnlight or no Fawnlight, I have a warriors ceremony to go to!" Sunpaw said. Leafpaw sighed. Our sisters hurt, and a warriors ceremony is all you think about? Leafpaw wanted to scream. "Willoweye, may I stay here and watch Fawnlight?" Leafpaw asked, wanting to talk to her sister as soon as she woke up.

Fawnlight was traveling in darkness. Her only guide, one star in the sky. As she walked towards it, she saw the moon around it, like the star was it's kit. She felt liquid at her paws, and looked down. She gasped, she was walking in a hot, orange, chunky, soup! Lava! She realized it was lava! She had heard about it of course. She had heard it was liquid fire. Back when SeasonClan was barley started, lava had killed the leader of DarkClan's mate, Glowingpelt. They say he got so devastated and angry, his bitterness seeped into the hearts of the clan. The lava rose up and drowned her, and she woke up.


"LAVA!" she screamed, startling Leafpaw, who was right next to her. " Woa, calm down Fawnlight, your ok." Leafpaw said. " You clearly need to calm down, have some poppy seeds......" she trailed off when she thought more about the seeds, the last thing she needed was Fawnlight asleep again! "L-Leafpaw? I need to tell you-" Fawnlight begain "Stop."said Leafpaw "Let's wait till the rest get back."

Fawnlight didn't know what was happening. She could faintly hear cats talking in the background, but she couldn't see anything! "Will she be ok?"  Fawnlight heard Rootheart asking someone. "I don't know, tell me what happened again." she thought she heard Willoweye say. " Well, when I walked near her, I saw a faint glow in the clearing, and another cat's voice. I thought something was wrong, so when the glow stopped, I ran there. When I arrived, Fawnlight was on the ground. Then I came here and you know the rest."  Fawnlight could barley open her eyes now. She kept at it, and soon she could see. She was in the med cat den, Sunpaw, Stonefall, Leafpaw, Rootheart, Robinwing, and Willoweye where around her. She felt herself falling asleep again, but they needed to know what really happened. She was loosing energy fast. "The kit." she manged out, and fell into darkness.

"I Lightningstar, leader of SeasonClan, ask our ancestors to look down at Stonepaw. He has trained well and hard to hunt and fight. Now grant me the power reveal the real Stonepaw. Grant me the power to name him!" Lightningstar's eyes flashed the color of ice, than the light green leaves, than the blinding yellow of the sun, and finally the dark red of the leaves now. Than she spoke one with StarClan. "Stonepaw, eldest son of Robinwing and Acornclaw, do you promise to remain loyal to our code?" "I do." Stonepaw said, Fawnlight could clearly see he could barley stand still. "Than we grant you your name. Stonepaw, forever your name will be Stonefall . Stay strong, hunt well, and fight brave." said StarClan and Lightningstar. The glow died down and Lightningstar said "Your night begins now. You will not stay alone though. You may pick your closest friend to keep you warm." Stonefall's eyes swooped across the cats of SeasonClan and WaterClan. "I choose Forestpaw." Forestpaw walked up and stood besides him. "See you tomorrow, Stonefall and Forestpaw." And with that, Fogstar went up besides Lightningstar, and together they led their clans back to their camps.


"Hey Fawnlight." Rootheart said, trying to keep up with her as she ran back to camp. " Do you" puff of air "want to go" puff of air "swimming in the" deep breath "lake with me?" Rootheart said, finally finishing his sentence. "Sure! I'll meet you there, you go tell Lightningstar, and I'll get going!" Fawnlight said, delighted that Rootheart wanted to spend time with her. He raced over to Lightningstar and after a few moments, she nodded. Fawnlight than raced towards the lake and sat there, waiting for Rootheart. "Save me" Fawnlight heard a voice "Save me before it's to late!" the voice said again. This time she saw a little kit that looked like it was dipped in stars. "Who are you, and are you from StarClan?" Fawnlight said, shivering "I am Moonstar, and I'm not sure, I never died, but I am trapped in my kit body, save me before it's to late!" And the kit disappeared as Rootheart tumbled through the reeds. "Fawnlight?!" Rootheart cried, just as she blacked out.

I wish I could get out of this den! Leafpaw thought, pawing through the leaves. Because she was training to be a med cat, she had to spend her time in the med cat den, learning herbs and sharing with StarClan. " Ok Leafpaw, that's enough for today, it's time to Shine!" her mentor, Willoweye. Leafpaw went over to the Shine and put her nose to it. She plunged into darkness and then it lightened. She looked for the source of the light and than saw it, a little kit in the dark, it's fur glowing with light. Than it said in a chorus of voices, 

Four will go west
To free the star
But they must beware
The Moons guard


The vision ended and she woke up. "Did you dream?" Willoweye said, looking at Leafpaw. "Yes, I did. A starry kit was in the middle of darkness and than it said Four will go west To free the star But they must beware The moons guard." Leafpaw replied, shivering. Than she heard Roothearts voice "HELP! FAWNLIGHT HAS PASSED OUT!"

Stonepaw was shocked at how fast his sister was. They should change her name to Runninglight! Watching her run, he realized how much he had underestimated her. "Hey Sunpaw, don't you think it's amazing how fast she is?" Stonepaw asked his brother. "Ya, I'm going to ask her to race Cheetaspots at the next Meet." Sunpaw replied as he cleaned out the elders den. "Cheetaspots?!" Stonepaw exclaimed "He's the fastest cat in all the clans, DarkClan included." "Well, maybe she has some power or something!" Sunpaw said laughing."I'm back!" cried Fawnlight, heading into camp. Stonepaw walked outside. "Fawnlight, where are you?" Stonepaw called out. The only cats in the clearing where Lightningstar, a gorgeous she-cat, and Greenwhisker. The she-cat laughed "Stonepaw, don't you recognize me? I'm Fawnlight!" Stonepaw just stared. "Stonepaw, just like the seasons, cats change." Lightningstar said, trying not to laugh.  Rootheart walked out of his den. He stopped suddenly and stared at Fawnlight. "Fawnlight?" he said. He tried talking a few more times, but his voice wouldn't work. She just smiled and walked towards him. "It's good to see you to, Rootheart."

Fawnpaw felt mad. Just because she was an apprintess Lightningstar thought she was "to young" to sleep in a cave! "Hey, who did Root......... whats his name now?" asked a familiar voice. "Leafpaw! Where have you been, I haven't seen you for moons!" Fawnpaw said happily as she ran to her sister. "I've been at the Shine! It's so boring in there. Now what's Grumpypaw's name?" said Leafpaw Fawnpaw stiffened. "He's not grumpy! And his name is Rootheart." said she said. "Ok, ok, don't get your tail in a twist! I just wanted to know his name!" said Leafpaw, backing away. " WOOHOO!" said the toms, charging into camp. Honeypaw walked in quietly behind them. Since they had come, Forestpaw had become fast friends with her brothers. Honeypaw and her where nothing alike as it turned out. Fawnpaw wanted to just become a warrior. Honeypaw wanted to become leader and take over her old clan. Yep, nothing alike at all! She thought. Oh well, I'll make friend when I'm a warrior. " The kits are coming!!!" yowled Featherspot. Willoweye raced towards the nursery. "Go to your den!" said Goldensoot. Fawnpaw didn't have any second thoughts. She ran towards her den and crashed into her nest. I have a big day tomorrow, and I can't afford to loose a second of sleep.


"Ok, all you have to do is catch 5 pieces of prey each and first one back to camp get to have their warrior ceremony tonight, the second will have it tomorrow night, the third the night after tomorrow. And............... GO!" Greenwhisker yowled as the apprintess ran towards the forest. Fawnpaw thought to herself, Hmm... The Lake or River? I'll go to the River. And she changed course and ran for the River. It was farther away, but she was fast since her brothers had grown like crazy, yet she grew just enough that it wasn't hard at all to do training, but she was still small so she could run all day and barley brake a sweat. Before she knew it, she was at the River. She searched the water for fish. Great StarClan! She thought, because the biggest fish she had ever seen was right in front of her. She quickly got into postion and swipped the water. I GOT IT!!!!! The fish landed next to her, she bite it's throught, and it was all her's. She got the rest of her prey soon after that, and raced back to camp with her prey. Since she couldn't carry it all, she put the smaller fish in the huge fish, and carried it that way. "Fawnpaw?!" Greenwhisker looked up, shocked "How in StarClan did you catch that fish?" Stonepaw raced and dropped his 5 pieces of prey. Then looked at her fish. "You cought one piece of prey! I'll be a warrior tonight!" He said joyfully. "Wrong, Stonepaw," Fawnpaw said as she took the prey out of her prey "I'll be the warrior!" Greenwhisker looked at Fawnpaw proudly. "Of course! You caught a monster of a fish, figured out how to carry it all, and was the first one back! Where did you go anyway?" Greenwhisker said, clearly think she went to the Lake, with was very close to camp. "I went to the River." Fawnpaw said honestly. Stonepaw did a double take. "How, what, but? How did you go there, and get back first?!" "I ran." said Fawnpaw. Greenwhisker smiled "The clan will eat well tonight." said Lightningstar, walking up "Good job, Stonepaw!" "Oh, I wasn't Stonepaw." said Greenwhisker, proudly. "Fawnpaw? You did this?" Lightningstar said, amazed. "Yes, and ran to the River to do it, and got back first!" Fawnpaw said happily. Lightningstar smiled "Than as soon as Sunpaw get back, we'll have the ceremony! Robinwing!" Lightningstar called "Look what Fawnpaw caught!" Robinwing raced over "Fawnpaw, this fish is huge! And wich one of my kits will be a warrior?" "That would be Fawnpaw." Greenwhisker said. "What did I miss?" said a breathless Sun paw coming into camp. "Fawnpaw's the warrior!" called out Lightningstar "We go to the Moonstream, now!"

Fawnpaw said, pacltecy bursting with joy "Than we grant you your name. Fawnpaw, forever your name will be Fawnlight. Stay strong, hunt well, and fight brave." said StarClan and Lightningstar. The glow died down and Lightningstar said "Your night begins now. You will not stay alone though. You may pick your closest friend to keep you warm." Fawnlight's eyes swooped across the cats of SeasonClan and WaterClan. "I choose Greenwhisker." Greenwhisker smiled as they touched noses. "See you tomorrow, Fawnlight and Greenwhisker."

Chapter 2

Rootpaw, forever your name will be Rootheart. Stay strong, hunt well, and fight brave." said StarClan and Lightningstar. The glow died down and Lightningstar said "Your night begins now. You will not stay alone though. You may pick your closest friend to keep you warm." Rootheart's eyes swooped across the cats of SeasonClan and WaterClan. Since WaterClan shared their territory, and since they were SeasonClan's best friends, they attended each other's ceremonies. "I choose........." Fawnpaw knew he had close friends in WaterClan, and picking Leafpaw would be smart but than he looked at her "Fawnpaw, I choose Fawnpaw." She felt a thrill run down her spine. "I'm sorry, Rootheart, but Fawnpaw needs to train if she is to be a warrior in 5 days." Lightninstar said, looking at Greenwhisker, who was nodding. He looked sad, and than said " Than I'll choose Tigerclaw." he said and Tigerclaw walked out of the crowd and touched noses with Rootheart, and together they walked towards the Moonstream.

Elders, queens, and kits must be fed before apprentices and warriors. If any warrior or apprentice is sick or injured, they may eat while the elders, queens, and kits are eating.
Prey is killed only to be eaten. Give thanks to StarClan for its life.
A kit must be at least six moons old to become an apprentice.
Newly appointed warriors will sleep at the Moonstream for one night after receiving their warrior name.
The deputy will become Clan leader when the leader dies, retires or is exiled.
A Meet is held every Half-Moon to show off their apprentices and discuss problems
No warrior can neglect a kit in pain or danger, even if the kit is from a different Clan.
The word of the Clan leader is the warrior code.
An honorable warrior does not need to kill other cats to win his/her battles, unless they are outside the warrior code or if it is necessary for self-defense.
Kits must stay in camp until they are apprenticed, and are not allowed to hunt.
The safety of the Clan is more important than the safety of one cat."
 Honeypaw finished the code went into the falls. Fawnpaw smiled. Finally, another she-cat to spend time with! Yes, Rootpaw was really sweet, not to mention handsome, but it's just not the same as having a having a heart-to-heart talk with someone. "Good job, Honeypaw!" said Robinwing, Honeypaw's mentor. Honeypaw smiled as she swam out of the water. "Next stop, the Moonstream." Robinwing said as she started walking towards the pool. "Forestpaw, your up!" said Whitestripe, his mentor. "Wait, Robinwing, can I watch my brother?" asked Honeypaw "Sure, than we must go to the stream." said Robinwing. Forestpaw stood shivering at the top of the falls and began the code. When he was done, he jumped into the falls and made a huge splash into the river. He began swimming around like a fish before he jumped out. Robingwing said "Ok, Fawnpaw and Rootpaw, go back to camp. Forestpaw and Honeypaw, come with me."

Everyone stared at the strange cats with new interest. "How old are you?" Lightningstar asked. "We're both 6 moons old." Honey said. "Well, let me consult with my deputy." Lightningstar said. Honey looked hopefully at the clan. Fawnpaw's father walked over to the leader and sat down beside her. "Should we?" Lightningstar said in a whisper that Fawnpaw could barely hear even though she was so close to them. "Well, we do need more apprentices." Acornclaw said. "Ask them if they were ever in a clan, we can only have pure blood here." Acornclaw continued. That's reasonable thought Fawnpaw. The clan had nothing against loners, (since the twolegs had left long before Fawnpaw, or any cat in the clan was born) it was just loners had never understood clan life. Lightningstar had a few loners in the clan when she was a kit, but all of them either left or betrayed the clan. "Ok," Lightningstar said "I'll ask them." "Have you been in a clan before?" Lightningstar said. "Yes, we were in ClearClan. We left because Darkstar took over and killed everyone who denied him, including our parents. Our mother got us out heartbeats before she got killed by Rockpaw, Darkstars old apprintess. Rockpaw was our friend when we where kits, but Darkstar corrupted him. His name now is Rockblood." said Honey. Lightningstars eyes widened in surprise. "Didn't another clan help you? WaterClan would always help us when we need it." Acornclaw said, astounded. "No, ThornClan just sat bye and their leader, Floodstar, even gave his clan to Darkstar! And FernClan got destroyed." Honey said. Lightningstar said "Wow, than of coarse you can come into our clan! We'll have your apprintess ceremony tomarrow. Welcome to SeasonClan, Honeypaw and Forestpaw."

"That was so fun, wasn't it?" said Fawnpaw "Ya, but why did it have to start "raining"?!" Stonepaw said, looking at his dripping wet fur, than at his siblings dry fur. Everyone laughed at that.
"Hey, I'll go get some prey, you want anything guys?" Fawnpaw said. "Sure, I'll have that fish you caught." Rootpaw said, blushing "Ok Rootpaw, just save me some, I want my first catch too!" Fawnpaw said, laughing as she walked over to get it. "Everyone! Look what I found!" Finchnose said, bursting into camp. "What is it Finchnose?" Lightningstar said, annoying at the interruption. "Well, I'll show you. Come on in you guys!" Finchnose called out. The rocks shifted and two tired, hungry looking cats about Fawnpaw's age walked into camp. The yellowish cat stepped forwards and said "Hi, I'm Honeyki... I mean Honey and this is my brother, Forest. We want to join your clan."

"Wow!" Fawnpaw said in amazement. She couldn't believe how pretty it all was. "Yes, it is pretty here, now take a sip of the stream and your done!" Greenwhisker said. Fawnpaw walked forwards and took a sip out of the stream. She saw a sudden seen flash before her, her as a warrior, then with a cat she knew instinctively was  her mate, than as a mentor with her apprintess , than her as a queen, than her and her mate watching their kits play. Than the vision ended. She thought about how it didn't show her last hour. "Done!" Fawnpaw said. "I'll wait for my brothers again."

"AHH!" Stonepaw screamed as Sunpaw and Fawnpaw dumped him in the river. They laughed so hard they fell down. All day they had been doing battle training, and now they where learning how to hunt. "What in StarClan do you think your doing?!" Tuftear came up behind them as they were rolling on the ground. They had been apprintesses for a few days  now, and they all loved every second of it. Rootpaw and Fawnpaw were becoming very close friends now, and her brothers weren't as annoying as usual. In other words, she was having the perfect apprinteship, so far. Stonepaw got out of the water, trying really hard to look annoyed, but then broke out laughing. "Thanks guys! I was getting to hot!" Stonepaw said. Tuftear cracked a smile "I'm glad you all had fun, but lets get hunting."

"Foxdung, I'll never catch a fish!" Fawnpaw said, discouraged. Her brothers had all gotten their first prey, it seemed like she'd never get it! She sighed and scanned the water. As the minutes passed, she got more and more worried. It was almost time to head back to camp. "Fish!" Fawnpaw called out quietly as she positioned herself to strike. She darted her paw into the water and slapped it out. She quickly nipped at it neck and killed it. "My first catch!" Fawnpaw said happily. "Good job Fawnpaw!" Greenwhisker said. She had come a few minutes earlier to watch them hunt. "You caught that just in time to, it's time to head back to camp." Panthertail said. They all left the river with their prey, proud, wet, and happy.

Fawnkit barely believe it, she and her brothers and sister would become apprentices, today! Lightningstar had surprised their mother with the fact a few heartbeats before. Now, she and her siblings where bouncing around. "My kits, stop bouncing! Save your energy for the tour of the territory." Robinwing said as she gathered them all up. They all stopped immediately. "I wonder who my mentor will be!" Stonekit said "Me to, wonder I mean." Sunkit said. "I hope I get Willowspot!" Leafkit said. "But Willowspot's the med cat!" Stonekit said, alarmed. "Stonekit! Leafkit can be what ever she wants!" Fawnkit said "I just hope I get Greenwisker, she's a really good warrior and she's also really nice."  "Time to go!" Sunkit said "Oh, my little kits, let me get you clean, your all messes!" Robinwing said in half amusement, half sadness, and half alarm. They all wiggled under her tongue. "All cats old enough to walk under the Ice Fall gather beneath the Main Boulder for a clan meeting" Lightningstar yowled. "It's time!" Fawnkit yowled with glee. The kits all ran and sat below the Main Boulder, the largest boulder in camp. They watched in excitement as the rest of the clan gathered. Their father, Acornclaw sat next to the boulder in the deputy's place. "We are gathered today for the naming of these 4 young cats. Fawnkit, do you promise to obey your mentor and the warrior code?" "I do" Fawnkit answered "Then from this day on until you get your warrior name, your name is Fawnpaw, mentor: Greenwisker." Fawnpaw walked over to Greenwisker and then they both walked away to go to the Ice Fall. Fawnpaw wasn't aloud to speak until she recited the warrior code and jumped into the Ice Fall to test her will. She was in awe when she saw the Ice Falls. And then she started the code:

"Good job Fawnpaw!" Greenwisker said as she swam out of the falls. "And now there's one more thing to do, drink from the Moonstream." As they left, Fawnpaw saw her brothers reciting the code. "Hey, Greenwisker, can I wait for my brothers? I want to know where Leafpaw is." Fawnpaw asked. "Sure, but I have to wait to." Greenwisker said. A few heartbeats later they got out of the falls. As their mentors, Tuftear and Panthertail, congratulated them, Fawnpaw walked over. "Hey Stonepaw, Sunpaw, do you know where Leafpaw is?" Fawnpaw asked. "Ya," Sunpaw said "She's a med cat, she's at the Shine." "Thanks." Fawnpaw said. And then she went with her mentor to the Moonstream.

Book One

Fawnkit slid underneath her brother, Stonekit. " Hey!" he squeaked. "You cheated!" "Nope, I just out smarted you!" She said, dancing around "I'll be the best warrior ever!". "You might if they don't count you out for being so small!" Stonekit replied, snorting. Sunkit (Fawnkit and Stonekits brother) laughed, rolling on the floor "Good one, Stonekit!". "Toms." Leafkit ( Fawnkit, Stonekit, and Sunkits sister) and Fawnkit said, rolling their eyes. "Kits!" their mother, Robinwing, called for them. "Lets go slowpokes!" Leafkit yelled, already almost to their den. The rest of the kits fallowed, stumbling over the many boulders that formed the dens in their camp. Robinwing rounded up all her kits and led them to their den. "Come, my kits,"Robinwing said "Let's get you to your nests." "But were not tired yet!" they all chorused. "SHHHH!" Rootpaw said. "Everyone is trying to sleep!". Great StarClan! Fawnkit thought, I always forget were right next to the apprintess den! I also keep forgetting we'll be so soon.
